Zhenjiang chemical agent factory (original Yangzhong County Chemical Seed Factory) was founded in 1966, and from the year 1976, it began to produce chemical seed professionally. It is the only factory producing chemical seed in Yangzhong City and is one of the earliest professional factories producing chemical seed in domestic town and township enterprises. It covers an area of 5500sqm, has a fixed asset of 5 million yuan and possesses many technicians, who occupy one third of the staff. And it is one of the first batch factories holding seed production licence, strictly checked and accepted by Ministry of Chemical Industry in 1991.
